Keynes vs. Hayek: the rap version

I can’t believe I haven’t seen this brilliant video until now. Hayek vs Keynes on how to deal with boom and bust. In rap! Priceless. Bring on the limo, I’m in!

Say Doc, what’s wrong with a planned economy anyways?

Hayek’s Road to Serfdom caused a sensation when it was first published in 1944. Here it is dramatised for US radio in 1945. As relevant and fresh today as when it was first broadcast, it’s only improved by the down-to-earth approach and hokey baseball analogies. Listen and learn. I’m still looking for the equivalent for Rawls’ A Theory of Justice, but no luck yet!
